A more inclusive “nakanaka iine!” - Working to promote mutual understanding -

“nakanaka iine!” is the nickname for the Naka Ward Community Social Welfare and Health Plan.
“nakanaka iine!” is a plan by ward residents for ward residents.
The plan is meant to be even more inclusive than ever before, encompassing people from all walks of life, including children, working people, the elderly, the disabled, and non-Japanese residents.
And it also aims to foster mutual understanding not only among residents but also among workers at companies and businesses in the ward.

About the Naka Ward Community Social Welfare and Health Plan

This is a plan for all people living and working in Naka Ward to work together to create a community where everyone can live in peace in the neighborhoods they’re familiar with while supporting each other.

Make an effort to promote the activities of “nakanaka iine!” in two ways

Let’s start with things all people living and working in Naka Ward can do to make a difference, focusing on the following two key areas.

1. Strengthening bonds with the community to enhance our capability to keep an eye out for others

Let’s take an interest in each other and work together to solve the problems we encounter in our daily lives.
・Try to greet and talk to your neighbors on a daily basis!
・Let’s encourage each other to participate in a community salon!

2. Promoting good health for a cheerful community

Let’s work together to improve our mental and physical health.
・For example, even if you don’t like to exercise... Participating in events and socializing will help you get fit.
・Take part in health-related courses held in the community.
